He beat a record-breaking 73-win team. :lebronamazed: In the Finals, he led BOTH teams in points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals. Yup, more points that "the greatest shooter ever". More assists than Kyrie. More rebounds than Draymond, Love, or Tristan Thompson. More steals and blocks than DPOY runner-up Draymond. One of the greatest rings ever. LeThanos.

Let's look at top 10 single season playoff records:
value over replacement player: LeBron 4x (including #1), Jordan 2x
box +/-: LeBron 2x (including #1), Jordan 2x
win shares: LeBron 4x (including #2, Duncan 2003 is #1), Jordan 2x

LeBron has very high quality playoff runs and one of the greatest Finals performances ever. Rings definitely rated 5 out of 5.

It was a travesty.. Silver tinkering with careers and legacies like it's a puppet show

If Curry wasn't so damn great, he wouldn't recover to get another chip in 2022 by elevating Wiggins from perennial loser and punching bag to champion and pristine winner.. It was amazing

It is wild if you sit back and look from an objective viewpoint. We don’t know if Silver was trying to manufacture LeBron a win or merely try to extend the series for extra money and to portray an illusion of parity.

Regardless the fact still remains the same that there was tampering going on in that series. Casts a huge dark cloud on LeBron’s already house of cards legacy. It is a shame because LeBron called Adam Silver after and actually lobbied for the suspension. It’s unfortunate for LeBron considering he had a chance to do this legitimately. If he really was able to defeat the 73 win Warriors even with a hobbled steph curry, it would be a huge legacy boost, maybe even Jordan comparisons could begin if he added another couple chips on top... But instead he chose the easy way out yet again just like during The Decision…just like bailing on Miami after he realized he couldn’t deliver on his promises as he left the organization in shambles. Bron promised Miami 7+ and said “it gon be easy” yet he only was able to deliver 2 before he left town. That is something a con man would do. He would repeat this pattern in Cleveland to LA.

The tragic thing about it is in the end LeBron conned himself by shying away from the challenge of doing things the right way, choosing to take shortcuts his entire career instead. He sabotaged his own legacy.

“For real, bro,” Speights told reporters. “You lose respect for guys like that. If you a player in this league, don’t try to get nobody suspended. You supposed to be the best in the world. Prove it.”

”I’d bet my right arm,” said TNT’s Reggie Miller, “if this series was even at 2-2, Draymond wouldn’t be suspended for Game 5.”

“The fans are being cheated,” ex-Lakers forward James Worthy wrote on Twitter. “I don’t believe in suspensions during the NBA Finals unless someone throws a devastating blow to the head.”

The Warriors shouldn't even have made it to the finals. Draymond Green should have been banned in the conference finals against the Thunder and Adam Silver himself forgave him.

The sanction in the finals, surely they are partly for being a repeat offender.

If it were any other player, I might have agreed with you, but being a usual suspect like Draymond Green, thank you for still playing in the NBA after all the dirty, unsportsmanlike actions he's racked up throughout his career.

The Cavaliers' 2016 championship is one of the most epic in NBA history.

People also forget that Silver rigged the game 6 against Pacers in 2012 I believe.

Even more so than that … for me it was the obvious touch calls on Steph in Cleveland during game 6, to remove him from the game quick, especially while he was hot. Thus causing him to throw the mouthpiece and for Curry’s boss Ayesha to have a meltdown on Twitter saying the league is rigged. THAT is how they influence outcomes. Not out right rig, but they definitely did that to push it 7. Curry and the Warriors just choked it away at home.

Yes. We all know how they do it. I don’t know what you were thinking was being implied, lol

4/5

1 point for the competition
Durant, Harden, Westbrook, Mcgrady, Duncan, Manu, Parker, Leonard, Curry, Thompson, Green, Butler
1 point for consistently making the finals
1 point for longevity/and doing it on 3 different teams
1 point for coming back from a 3-1 hole to beat a 73 win team

Lebron is the greatest physical basketball talent + IQ of all time.

The expectations were too much though and he just isn't a bad guy. In order to be a conqueror you need to basically be a psychopath like MJ. You need a deep urge to kill and destroy. Lebron doesn't really have that. He's a good guy.

2012: 4/5

Possibly his most consistent individual title run. Bird claimed he didn’t have a single bad performance that postseason, and it’s hard for me to disagree.

He tipped the scales with his legacy after the previous year’s all-time flameout and cemented himself as the unanimous BITW (if there ever was one in the modern era).

Only reason it’s not a 5 is because his team was easily just talented as, if not more than, all his opponents.

2013: 3/5

I can’t ignore his individual struggles in the Finals, nor the substandard competition he faced en route to there. Nonetheless, he won Finals MVP against an elite Spurs team—one considered among the best of the 2010s not to win it all—and solidified his monstrous Game 7 legacy in the process—even if it took a miraculous Ray Allen three to reach that Game 7.

2016: 5/5

He delivered the promised first chip to Cleveland by leading the Finals in all five stats against a 73-win team. So much more can be said about its impressiveness, but I think that’s all that needs to be.

2020: 3-4/5

All Mickey Mouse jokes aside, he bolstered his legacy further with this chip. While he has to share a lot of credit with AD for this title, he did convincingly outplay the bigman on the biggest stage to deservedly win Finals MVP.

I have to dock a point for substandard competition, however. Granted, you can only beat who’s in front of you, and the Lakers did so convincingly (for the most part). But the bottom line is they didn’t beat elite enough teams to make this a historically outstanding championship.

Better physical talent than Shaq? Say what you want about Lebron, but he works hard and adjusted his diet to be this good. Shaq would literally go into the season out of shape and play himself into it.

Umm what?

2012- league mvp, had to become the Heat's defacto big man mid run and have one of the greatest playoff games of all time just to reach the finals. Then beat 3 future mvps on one team to win his 1st chip. Remember Bosh was injured for the indy series and played hurt the rest of the way, and Wade literally had to get his knee drained mid series.

2013- back to back league mvp, dpoy runner up. Faced the Spurs in the finals at a time where fans and media were questioning if Wade was hurting the team with his play. Had an incredible run in an elimination game in game 6 that led to Allen's all-time great shot. We all know what he did on game 7.....

2016- speaks for itself, but ok. Played a historic 3 game stretch to along with Irving complete a 3-1 comeback and win a chip for a city that's never had one. And let's not speak on his goat level defensive metrics for that series either.

2020- maybe the weakest of the bunch, or the strongest depending on how covid impacted your life. Basically locked in a camp away from family and on neutral ground won a chip in the most pure basketball setting the NBA has ever had.

5 easily.
