Around 34:40 KG asks him if physical defense will be coming back and there’s a long back and forth about that. Adam felt it got too physical for the super skilled guys like Steph(his example) to fully show it and slowing them with physicality isn’t a better brand of ball. He did mention that people he watch games with complain that it goes too far.

I think the concept in general is that as long as the offensive movement remains stagnant/idle, the defense should have the opportunity to tighten up the space, up to where verticaliy from your backfoot is allowed.
