Watch Undisputed and First take. There's like 100 topics about the Lakers losing/Lebron retiring/Kyrie joining and two about the Nuggets.

You know what was interesting this week? Seeing all the sports talk motor-mouths defend focusing on a few players/teams. JJ Reddick said it best, the NBA has done a disservice to itself by over-focusing on the individual over the team. Quite literally nobody outside of Denver gives a flying fukk that they're in the finals, and the only way the finals gets any ratings this year is if the Celtics pull off the comeback.

Agreed. The NBA needs to put off my homeboy Eric Lewis firing for at least two more games...

The NBA is quite refreshing now. No more Lebron drama. No more ESPN worshipping the ground he walks on. I mean, there are other NBA players in the league ya know, ESPN? We are in the Jokic and Tatum era now. What Jimmy Butler is doing is great. As much as I despise the Heat, seeing them in the Finals wouldn't be bad either cause I enjoy watching their fans bail out of the arena early even if they're winning. It's all great.

The day LeBron retires, I'm throwing a ****in party.
Two decades of this flopping colluding bum has been the worst thing that's ever happened to basketball.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks Denver is much more fun to watch than the Lakers. Obviously to casual fans, it’s all about the names and Lebron is by far the most popular player in the world, arguably the most popular athlete period. It’s why the NBA wanted the Lakers in the finals so badly. But I’m very surprised the level of basketball nerd that frequents a site like this can’t appreciate watching Denver.
Never understood the appeal of James in terms of aesthetics of his game.

I'm a casual fan and find the Nuggets far more entertaining than LA. You don't have to be studying the game in depth to know that James is getting old.

I'm really looking forward to a Nuggets/Heat finals. Should be amazing.
I can understand why you'd be uninterested if you're a Bronie fluffer though...

If Denver was LA, NY or another big market team, they would be more marketable. Ppl do find Jokic personality boring, but I think his style is exciting to watch for me. I don't think ppl really watch him play that much.
