It’s close but I think the height difference forced Larry to be a better passer and play maker than Jokic who is taller and plays in a more free flowing modern basketball culture. Larry was really good at passing

Trying to prove one guy is better than the other at passing is kind of foolish to begin with. Theyre obviously close enough that a preference for one over the other is completely subjective.

I agree

If Larry was surrounded by shooters in the modern NBA he'd standout as the best passer.

okay, Larry Bird, better free throw shooter, elite hand eye-coordination, players don't need special gloves to catch his passes.

any other reason why I still got cash on me

Idk about that. They seem to be about the same or Jokic being better.

But as a FultzNationRISE said, it's pretty difficult and foolish to say one is a better passer than the other. At a certain lvl, it's just preference.

Jokic is en route to crack the top 10 players of all time if he continues on this path and gets some rings

Bird fans always feel insecure about other great white players. I have seen these clowns bash Luka and now Jokic.

They're in different offensive environments, Bird did his thing with considerably less spacing so when you 'thread the needle' back then, you were *really* getting the ball through some tight areas. I agreee with the above they're kind of hard to directly compare, but no doubt among the very best of their respective eras.

disagree, fultzie. The space make things way different. It's not close. Jokic might be close to as smart as bird, but who knows. His actual intuition, mechanical passing skill (throwing balls thru tires? haha,) etc, I think Bird wins all. Why is Bird the guy they compare him to, anyway, cuz white?

He's prol one of the best passing Cs tho. But I think that one might need to look at SABONIS and others. I'm tired of people dick riding new players. I mean, it's obvious cuz they gotta keep people interested in this trashy touch foul, dancing era, but I mean... yea it's true you can't prove who is the better passer, but you can do a deep dive.

It'd be harder w/ bird cuz there are way more cameras now, but you'd have to go game by game and watch their awareness (by guessing when they are aware of the chance to make a pass,) cuz that's where it starts, then whether they can complete it. It's like the MJ flop collection, someone on this forum prol has the time to do it. Let's go.

Put Manu in there too. YALL SLEPPN https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48WnPHE2dKk

It's hilarious watching people grasping onto any straws they can to try and discredit Jokic:roll:

What Jokic has done has lead Denver to the #1 seed and has absolutely dominated the play offs:roll:

You're calling it stat padding because no one else is even close to him right now in terms of ability or impact.
