Bulls guard Lonzo Ball has had three knee surgeries. The third surgery being in March. And there's worry his playing career may not continue.

He is reportedly under contract through 2023-24 and has a player option for 2024-25.

Hopefully he can come back in a reduced role like Derrick Rose, Vince, Penny etc.

People within the Bulls' organization seem to think so.

Most likely. The saddest part about it is that zach lavine should have filled his role as the sixth man of the team while he was gone but it didn't happen at all.

when it comes to releases, Lonzo could still be one of those guys that gives you the and-1 plays.

in all fairness, Robert Williams is a PF. similar to a guy named Reggie Evans who just padded stats.

How many games has he even played in, during the last two seasons where the bulls paid him $44 million ?

Vegans so far don’t seem to heal fast or fully from sports injuries.

He was never that good anyway...incredibly overrated, and little better than a Kendall Marshall.

This. Hopefully he knee's condition won't degenerate like Brandon Roy and will be able to hang around in NBA longer.

Nah he's a highly valuable player in todays NBA. Excellent 3 and D guy with great passing. He has a massive ego too so he played extremely hard to avoid embarrassment.

Really solid role player, any team would love to have him if healthy.

Lakers blaming Big Baller Brand. I used to tell my wife that I was going to buy a pair just to get a rise out of her (they were 500 to 1000 dollars).

Yeah, I agree. He could contribute a lot to any team if he stayed healthy.

Unfortunately, it seems like his NBA career might be cut short. I hope he can come back from this.
