Great scouting and player development.

Raptors did about the same thing when they won the Chip.

Riley is a genius. Found the right guys.

Simple as that. Individuality they're not worth a damn, but compiled with others and two all-star caliber guys and you have a championship caliber team.

Butlers supporting cast, coach, and management is top of the line in the sport.

they didn't speak, because then they would sound incoherent, and you know our boy Riley just went to town on them :applause:

Well they were not good enough to be drafted. Just cause they're doing well now is not a testament to how they were back then. Gabe Vincent was shooting 22 FG% his first year.

Undrafted but not unknown. All these guys have been in the NBA system for like 5 years now, working their way up the G league and onto NBA rotations. It’s not like Riley found these guys on the street corner before the playoffs began.

Fred Vanvleet was undrafted and he’s an all star. There must be plenty of undrafted good role players. Just weird to have so many at once.

I guess those lower draft picks and undrafted are easier to be mold into good role players or more than the higher draft picks that end up not having "it" and can't adapt into role players.

Jokic was the 41st pick. Butler was 30th. NBA finals is a big W for those who were looked over.

The Heat are up and down a top notch organization in their league. Like the Patriots were in the NFL when they dominated. Like the Steelers were with Roethlisberger where they were always in the thick of things, they were always respected as a force.

The Heat have won 38 playoff games since 2020, by far the best in the league.

Seven finals appearances since 2006 for the Heat, that is first in the nba, Golden state has 6 finals appearances since 06 for 2nd.

The heat were one shot from the nba finals last season which would have been their 8th finals appearance in the last 17 years, and as the #1 seed last year.

The Heat are just consistently incredible.

If u can shoot and aren’t a total cone on d ur set. Not rly rocket sci. Picking guys who are gonna keep getting better at shooting and practicing is tough. Duncan is a dude I knew of. Other guys are not, but I seen em. Imo strus is the weak link of the three. He’s not like the others.

Stop quoting sock puppets lol

Edit: lesse strus spreads at end of finals. At cs cutting him.

Did you miss Strus' 31 points in the playin vs the Bulls in the 2nd half where he shot over 50% and 58% from 3 ?

The Heat had multiple games against the bucks and celtics where they shot 3s as good as or better than last night. Last night was not an anomaly. Look up the game logs and see the numbers

People keep saying the "Heat can't shoot like that again", and we just keep doing it over and over and over, and keep winning.

The best thing about this is the Heat have so much more open space on offense against the nuggets. nba analytics had the Heat with 57 wide open looks in games 1 and 2 combined. That is the most by far they've had all playoffs. The next 2 game stretch where they had so many open looks was 38.

The nuggets stink on defense, murray and jokic are horrible on defense. When is the last time a championship team had their 2 best offensive players be BY far their 2 worst defensive players on their whole roster? the answer is never. Like Spoelstra said, when your best players cant be your best players defensively you will never have a good defense and they will get exposed.

The Heat are here to do the Exposing!! haha
