After the Lakers lost, I was zoned out of the playoffs. Shit boring ASF.

However, seeing Jimmy cook up the Celtics as an 8th seed got my interest slightly back.

They beat the number 1 seed Bucks in the first round as the 8th seed. They about to beat the number 1 seed in the West in the Finals. This team is a team of destiny. Well said. Injuries happen but top to bottom Nuggets are a way better team. It's amazing the Heat came this far , they beat everyone put in front of them.

Giannis was pretty good vs. Heat when he got to his spots, as was Brook Lopez at times. Heat will struggle guarding Jokic but they can still win by limiting Murray and the perimeter shooters and just live with Joker getting his.

The one advantage Heat has is that they can put 5 guys out there who can all attack the basket and challenge Jokic on defense. Put him in as many plays as possible & wear him down. Murray is also a major weak link defensively. I don't think it's necessarily a huge Jimmy series, they could win by spreading the load and having Vincent and Martin etc drive on them too. Lakers were effective in the paint but lacked the spacing that the Heat have. Reaves was the only Laker consistent from 3 in that series while the Heat can have 3-4 guys making a ton of those shots & really put pressure on that Nuggets mediocre D. All the teams Heat played in the EC were elite defensively and they solved that.
