On another team, 19 on 42% would be "just another guy" in the NBA, but when the GOAT is dragging that crap to titles, then it's considered all-time.

People claim that "scoring isn't everything", except that's the biggest kind of help that everyone in history needed, aside from the GOAT.. Everyone in history needed teammates to match or lead in scoring for entire playoff runs, while MJ led his sidekick by 10-30 ppg in every SERIES.. So MJ is the only guy in history that was forced to defeat maximum defensive attention (carry scoring load) in every series.. (edit: there are 3 series where MJ led his sidekick by 9, 8 and 4 pts).

Pippen was a system player that got flow points with low peak capability (not on scouting report according to Shaq) - he was worse than prime Jeff Green outside the system (14 on 40% in houston).. since he wasn't on the scouting report (low peak capability), MJ was forced to defeat max defensive attention (carry scoring load) in every series (unique to MJ).

On any other team, 19 on 42% is considered nothing, but when it's getting carried to titles and the resume says 6 rings, it's all-time

no one saw their secondary production level benefit from the winning spotlight more than Pippen.. no one.. So he's the most overrated player of all-time - imagine an Iggy-caliber player that was inflated to top 30 by the winning spotlight - that's Pippen

There are zero series where he played materially above a prime Iggy-caliber.. that's a historic fact, but the winning spotlight inflated him - he was carried more than anyone in history and the numbers show that clearly..

It's easy to shut me up - all you have to do is show me a series where Pippen took over and achieved that elite, dominant level that we always like from our perimeter stars.. But there are none - Pippen's peak capability was 20 ppg of system play, which is why Shaq said he wasn't gameplanned for (not on scouting report).. outside the system, he was worse than prime jeff green (14 on 40% in houston and demoted to 3rd option - imagine shooting 40% with no burden as 3rd option)

TBH, while not on par with the help LeBron has had, MJ did play with solid role players like HoGrant, Paxson, BJ, Rodman, RHarper, Kerr and TKukoc. It's not like MJ did EVERYTHING.

Eh, 3ball being 'banned' is a running gag at this point. If he really was banned there would be nothing to discuss where he is concerned, but 'banning' him for a few days gets chatter and activity which is pretty much the goal of this site.
