Which is better for Lakers to keep anyway?

I guess it's Rui in both tangible and intangible terms.

Lakers need to make some moves to be title locks.

Looking at the numbers, the Lakers don’t have that many options. Salary cap is a bitch. Doubt they can make any big moves like getting Kyrie or Dray or any other half way big names.

Thing is, they CAN make some big moves but would have to do some things behind the scenes if you know what I mean. I mean it is L.A. This is the time front offices earn their keep. Make big moves when the world thinks you can’t. That’s the reasons they have those positions.

If it was just a crunching numbers thing, any fool with a calculator could do that. We need the front office to pull off the impossible. Let’s go!

Austin Reaves projected to receive 25 mill per season contract offers. A great 3&D player who excels offensively as a shooter and has already acquired the ability to drive and finish.

Rui Hachimura projected to receive 20 mill per season contract offers. Another great 3&D player who is versatile enough to be score to guard all positions. Very mobile, and has athleticism off the charts. A great rebounder as well.

Lakers need to make some moves to be title locks.

AD is going to miss 25 games and James is completely past his prime. It is impossible for them to be a title lock. Next year Phoenix will have the chance to fill out their roster and Golden State may fix their issue. LA at best will be 3rd and more likely 5th-8th.

Who is willing to offer a undrafted 2nd year white boy 100m(not saying he cant get thay amount). Would like to hear which team has cap space and willing sign him.

Maybe Rui will take a 15-18m a year contract.

Their best player will be making about 17m the next two years and he brings more to the table then Reave(as of today). Would be glad to do a sign and trade though, Reaves for Lauri, heck I will even take THT+Clarkson(if Reaves valued at 25m, and to match salaries) hehe.

Jazz and Wolves don't need to sign and trade crap. Reaves and Rui are both free agents they can sign into their cap space. Lakers better be willing to open their pocket books or they're both gone.

I feel like both of these guys are championship type pieces. Play efficient and effective basketball, don't force the issue, etc. I don't think the Lakers win a title with LeBron anymore, but once he goes, get another superstar, and these guys will have come along and they should be competing again.

they aren't trading Lauri or Kessler. You can have Clarkson and Talen though!

Never said anyone needed to sign and trade anyone. Pointed out Utah's best player is only making 17m the next two years. You think Utah will sign a 2nd year undrafted white boy for 25m per for 4yrs and not even the same player as Markkanen? Right now Reaves is a legit 4th option but if he keeps improving a solid 3rd option. He became Lakers 3rd option in these playoffs but where did that take them?

no idea what they will do but they wanted John Collins to add to Lauri and Sexton who are also young vets on non max contracts that have upside still so he would seem to fit that. As long as Clarkson is gone I will be happy

Stop being racist idiot. Acting like Reaves is a scrub. NBA front offices watched the playoffs. They know Reaves is the real deal.

They were able to named two movies "White Men Can't Jump" but me saying "White Boy" is racist? I's sure if he was dark skinned he would have more attention. Nobody said Reaves is a scrub(Mr. Skip BallLess at it again).
