View Full Version : 4-1, 4-2, 4-0... why are we acting like this isn't a dominant playoff run?

Nuggets have been able to stay unnoticed as they've actually been very dominant and looking better for each game.

They made Lebron and AD look clueless, they did away with Booker, CP3 and Durant while hiding how good those Suns actually are.

Now they're probably going to easily dispatch Heat.

This is a playoff run, along with what Jokic does individually, that is right up there with the best that ever played.

OKC in 2012 went.... 4-0, 4-1, 4-2 then losing in the Finals.

I've seen many on here over the years say they were just inexperienced kids and wasn't a surprised that they lost.... even though they were the betting favorites before tip-off of game 1.

Crazy thing too is the parity this year was exceptional. Basically no ‘fodder’ teams in the playoffs. Everyone was strong, and the Nuggets have just mowed them down.

OKC had 3 hall of famers, but they were young and the refs helped Miami and they were up against 3 hall of famers who colluded.

In a normal year OKC would have stolen that championship.

Is it really that impressive to beat a team in the Finals who’s best player isn’t even as impactful as Marco Belinelli? I don’t think so.

Miami would definitely be better with Belinelli or Reddick.

OKC had 2 All-NBA guys, 6moty and runner-up for DPOY who'd just steamrolled their way to the Finals.

just kids, though

lol@ Bosh being a HOF'er in 2012.

In place of Butler? They beat the Bucks at least.

Why? Because some of them seriously thought that denver isn't capable of getting out in the west with their current roster even when healthy.

Your welcome what?

Gave everyone an idea what the standard for 'impressive" should be. For those who didnt know, look it up. Your welcome.

How many teams, in years where every round was 7-game series, have run the full playoff gauntlet in under 20games ?

Is it going to be 4-1?

Jokic has made this postseason a statement.

Undeniably the best player in the league with this. It's up for everyone else to challenge him now.

MVP 2 years in a row and should have been 3, now a champion, can they repeat?
