They also have Gordan and a small forward who is 6'9. KCP is their sg but he played sf in LA. They are big.

not denying they have some size and know how to use it

takes more than one guy to win which is just a truism

AD - 6'10" / Jokic - 6'11"
Lebron - 6'8" / Aaron Gordon - 6'8"
Hachimura - 6'8" / Porter Jr. - 6'10"
DLo - 6'4" / Brown - 6'4"
Reaves - 6'5" / Murray 6'4"

Nuggets have 2 inch height advantage. But if you look at wingspans, the Lakers are longer.

Murray is for sure taller than 6'4'', looks at least 6'6''.

No way. He's 6'3 max. But he's wide and strong and determined. Whole Nuggets cast is on some stoic "if he dies he dies" shit. I haven't seen this type of mentality since the 2011 Mavs.

I've seen him listed anywhere from 6'3 to 6'5 and his standing reach from 8'1 to 8'5. Whatever he really is, he easily dunks standing 2 footed under basket which a lot of 6'3 guys can't do. He certainly plays like a big 6'4, 6'5 guard

"Too big" is just a ploy and another way of saying "who could beat this team of giants?". It's a built-in excuse for teams losing to Nuggets and for everyone missing the boat on them

It also downplays their brand of ball and IQ

True.

Modern teams are frequently too big. Very often will a center or forward have size on a defender, but the wings and guards won't pass the ball and just jack up a 3 instead. Nuggets move the ball and take advantage when they get a good matchup, but it's not like they seek them out either, they just pass the ball and see where there's an opportunity

Yes, he is not a small guard at all.

He reminds me a bit of Mitch Ritchmond or Gilbert Arenas.

I was kinda shocked at how tall MPJ is. Standing next to 6'5 Austin Reaves it looked like he was a half foot taller than him. Humble great guy too.

It’s way more too it than that lol

But the braindead media will chalk it all up to this.

Nothihg to do with genuine chemistry and cohesive 7th sense the whole squad has on both sides of the ball, covering for each other, and reading each other’s minds …. Nope.

Just size, that’s it. Sure thing, Steven & Skip.

Also as someone who has stood on the same floor with Murray … his fro adds a few inches of perceived height. But he’s just a big rib cage, strong 6’3.25” … Deron Williams size maybe a little heavier/stronger in the legs.

Everyone in the NBA from some years ago is exaggerated in their height, so it might be that Murray is legit 6-3 or 6-4 but in older NBA measurements, that might be 6-5.

He looks 6-5 to me and how 6-5 looks to me over 30 years of watching. He's about the same size as Jason Kidd at the very least and Kidd was listed at 6-4 and I feel Murray is a bit taller.

Yup.

Murray plays like a shorter Kobe, and Kobe in real life was probably 6’4. I would guess Murray is something like 6’2 with long arms. He does dunk pretty effortlessly for a guy his height. But he’s nowhere near 6’5.

Murray was only a teenager when he was measured. He is probably close to 6'4" or 6'4.25"

Yeah people have to use their eyes. No way someone dunking easily like that is a small guard.

Kobe Bryant is 6'4.75" aka 6'4 3/4" as measured by Vanessa Bryant.

I like the Deron comparison. Murray is at least an inch taller though. What beast Deron was. Quick, strong, elite court vision just like Murray but probably even quicker and stronger. He just didn't have that clutch gene. Murray is so special and fits Denver so well, I don't think I'd trade him for any other point guard other than Luka. And even then, I'd pause

we all said this and it's obviously true. Doesn't mean Mia can't get some games, but the biggest problem w/ Miami is they have like... who is it ZELLER or some shit as their only big? Bam isn't a C. He's not even like AMARE. Bam has an admirable wingspan, but even Amare I think is about the same or more. It's not only his fault... but they don't have any more big guys at all (that are playing.) Not even 6'8 dirty work guys.

It's kinda time to try Kevin Love IMO haha. At least he's a big body.

Question w no wrong answer, am I… a genius haha. Na but props to klove for putting heat over the hump. U dudes keep slurping joker n i mite start cheering for heat. Adversity is what we need to see!!

At least it’s not the usual crap, but it’s still prisoner of the moment. Still feeling den in ez. Don’t make me shake the magic 8 ball twice.

Joker is actually only 6'5 in shoes. The fact that he is bullying Bam and Zeller close to the basket makes me believe he is the GOAT.

Zone can only work with jokic out of game. Best bet is zone up and get shooters out of rhythm then.

They let love get 30 min and he did ok. I imagine he will only do better as he gets into it. Really could help in the long run. Nuggies got exposed as inexperienced imo. No killer instinct. To be fair Miami was so trash in g1. Still it’s the finals.

Heat have shooters but they are spot ups. Why is den helping. Jokic getting cooked by bam is kinda sad. If it’s all jumpers it’s whatever, but that still shouldn’t free up shooters. Even so, doubt Miami hits 50% 3s often. We shall seeee. Like I said almost ready to pick a side and pick Miami. When people are like jokic is top x already it’s like… o yea. Perhaps he could put a hand up on bams 13 footers. Tho otoh if they are counting on bams 20 ppg mostly out of paint, that might be a losing strategy.
