He set the goat standard and gets punished for it, aka 1-9
And his all-star teammate wasn't a franchise player like Kareem or Wade, nor was he a #1 pick like AD or Kyrie - he was a supplementary player like Klay, although Klay required gameplanning because you have to close out on him, while Pippen allowed opposing coaches the rare strategic luxury of backing off and wasn't on the scouting report according to Shaq.
Jordan weak help forced him to average 5 more points than all the best scorers in playoff history (KD, Kobe, Lebron, West, etc).

No pip?
MJ won with the least help, yet somehow he "needed" that help??.. It's the dumbest shit ever
You would say Jordan "needed" whoever he won with.. He was going to win eventually with somebody, and you were always going to say he needed that player regardless of how bad the player was
You found a way to use Jordan's goatness of never needing a 2nd all-star against him.. It's special ed-level stuff..

Most people don't know that Kobe led the 2000 Playoffs in clutch points:
https://www.nba.com/stats/players/clutch-traditional?Season=1999-00&dir=A&sort=PTS
And set the all-time clutch record in those Finals (8.0 ppg):
https://www.nba.com/stats/players/clutch-traditional?PORound=4&Season=1999-00&dir=A&sort=PTS
Remember that Phil preferred Kukoc over Pippen when it matters, so from the moment that Kobe was trusted to take 4 straight game-winning attempts in 1997 Playoffs, he was better than peak Pippen.. Kobe was a franchise player, while Pippen was a supplementary player and role player.
Btw, Kobe destroyed Pippen in 1999 regular season with MJ watching in the stands (see on youtube), while demolishing him in the 1st Round of Playoffs as well (18 on 32% for Pippen, which included game-losing TO in one of the games)

Also had as many 30-pt games in the first round against the Kings in '00 as Pippen did for all of his 6 titles COMBINED & averaged more ppgz in that series (27.8) than Pippen did in any series of his career.

Yeah, you use the injury excuse whenever it's most convenient for your hero. :applause:
