Lebron/Luka/Kyrie is weird even for a 2K lineup.

people on ISH told me lebron is a cancer, everyone hates playing with him and he's a black hole... hm, interesting that kyrie thinks otherwise

Lebron in Dallas would be amazing.

Id pass on Kyrie tho.

This is just a way to get Kyrie to Lakers.

Luka would definitely not want to share the ball with Lebron.

I assume it’s a “I sign and you come next summer” thing. I will say this…cheap as Lebron is? If he did leave Cali I bet it would be for a no state income tax place like Texas, Florida, or Memphis. And it won’t but Memphis.

Anyway if Kyrie reached out to Bron directly, the only way Shams could know is if one of those two players told him. So this feels more like one of them trolling than anything else.

Bron covers his mouth when he talks to people on the court. I doubt he immediately picks up the phone and texts Shams after a call from Irving so he can go blab it all over Twitter.

This ‘leak’ is clearly calculated for some ulterior purpose.

He’d definitely share it with Lebron, especially the way Lebron’s shown the ability to play off ball the last couple years and STILL damn near lead the league in scoring.

But I doubt hed wanna share it with Lebron AND Cancer Kyrie, that would just be way overkill.

Bronny just committed to USC, Bryce will probably go there too, plus LeOrsonWelles has a film career.

He’s not leaving LA regardless. Altho he should, cuz his teammates SUCK.

None of them play defense. I'd like to watch that.

Lebron for Luka

who says no?

good deal for both teams imo

Not like Mavs have anything else to offer

Would Luka be going to the Lakers? Otherwise there's nothing really for Dallas to offer. Lakers could send over Bron, Reaves, Vanderbilt + picks for Luka I suppose. Although it would only make sense for the Mavs if Luka has privately asked out.

Otherwise, it would be unprecedented to trade a top 5 player at age 24 for a player considering retirement.

If the idea is to form a Big 3 with Luka, Bron, and Kyrie somehow, not sure it would work so well since they all need to be the primary ball handler to be effective.

Kyrie can play off ball 2 guard, but would you want to relegate Luka to a spot-up three point shooter? No. And Bron wouldn't be relegated to a spot-up three point shooter either.

It's because only Dallas can offer max to kyrie. I just don't see what assets Dallas has to make the salaries work for LeBron. Regardless, I don't think LeBron would ever accept Dallas over los Angeles lol

kyrie and luka doesnt work

lakers have valuable role-players that the mavs will want. reaves vanderbilt rui they can grab a couple of those players.

lakers would hate to part with rui and reaves but that might be the play

There is no chance they trade Luka, especially not to the Lakers. Cuban would never do that. He hates everything about the Lakers. I can't see him even trading kyrie to the Lakers due to his personal hate.

Mark Cuban has placed himself into a hole. They can't win with or without kyrie. By keeping kyrie, they would have to pay max for a player who doesn't exactly fit next to Luka & isn't quite all there mentally. By getting rid of kyrie, there are only a couple takers so first, options are very limited. Second, they gave up a lot to get kyrie so they are unlikely to get back what they gave up. Cuban/Mavs are f*cked.

So he is counter recruiting the recruiter? Where did he learn that from? Are these conversations being done within the confines of the LeWarRoom?

It would have to be for Doncic and Dallas would be better off letting Irving walk than doing that trade. If Irving thinks Dallas has the assets to make this happen he's playing too many video games.

Luka and LeBron would be a worse fit than Bron and Westbrook + they would have a bottom ranked defense

Big yikes

They wouldn't compliment each other but they (especially Doncic) are so individually great that they could win just by picking on the mismatch. If Westbrook was still in his prime that would have worked out differently for the Lakers. The problem is that there is no way the Mavericks can equal James value without trading Irving or Doncic. There is no trade proposal that would make sense.

We'll accept Kyrie Irving + 10th pick + Tim Hardaway Jr for Lebron.

I'm not. I made a thread a few years back suggesting Lakers acquire Russell Westbrook. Low and behold it happened. Pelinka is a big fan of mine

Kong can't mesh well with young, upcoming superstars. Unless he's willing to be a role player or sixth man due to his age.

Maybe LA should look into trading Lebron. His stats were inflated due to multiple injured on the roster thus stat stuffing the last two seasons. Maybe a team is dumb enough to believe he is still a great player.
