What happened to his competitive spirit when it came to winning without Phil Jackson?

Why didn’t he take it “personally” then? Why didn’t he think “OK. You think that I can’t win without Phil. I’m going to show you I can.”

Why was Phil not a coach in the NBA before going to the Bulls but rather in the CBA? Why didn't he build a team from the ground up and not hand pick the GOAT?

Who cares?

You're telling me that MJ can't win without Phil?

Let's remove both Phil and Krause from the situation and keep the same Chicago Bulls roster of the 97-98 season with Jordan, Pippen and Rodman ... That team couldn't win another championship for the 98-99 season with someone like Doug Collins as the coach?

MJ without Pippen

5 seasons

38-44
30-52
40-42
37-45
37-45

1-9 in the playoffs
2 first round sweeps
2x not making playoffs

But we are supposed to believe Pippen was only good because MJ "made him."

Because it wasn't a thing until 20 years after his retirement from the Bulls.

No.

Someone like Jordan (flawed chucker) needs perfect circumstances to win, ie. Best coach, best supporting cast, teammate health, and weak competition. He had that every single year the Bulls won. Calling them Mickey mouse rings is giving too much credit. Those rings are fukking garbage.
