View Full Version : Y'all still think Denver Nuggets will win easily?

I still do.

I still think Denver outclass Miami by quite a lot.

Denver in 5...max 6.

Unless injury.

They're very similar teams in general and have a very similar playstyle. The primary difference is Denver is simply bigger and more athletic, which isnt going to change. Miami can keep themselves in it if they shoot exceptionally well, as they did in Game 2. They have good shooters so it's not impossible. However I still believe the probabilities favor Denver at this point.

Maybe not easily anymore. I said 5 before the series now I'll go 6 but wouldn't be shocked if there was a 7th.

No, they're gonna be battles. Hate predicting in how many games but I think Miami will pull off the upset.

Butler ankle is the key to all this. His burst, explosion and lift hasn't been the same since early Boston series.

No doubt the Heat win this series with a healthy Butler, a Jimmy performing like he did in the Bucks series cements this finals for the Heat. No doubt about it.

His ankle gets worse, advantage mcnuggets

denver needs injuries on miami to win, as Miami is the better team when both teams are at full health

It's pretty nonsensical to say Nuggets in 5 now since that would mean they'd have to win both games in Miami which given the fact they're not a great road team will be an extremely tall task. If Nuggets win it will have to be in 7 games.

I still think the NBA is fixed on so many levels. I concede that I did flip the game on (got so bored haha) for awhile to watch, and they were playing what I felt was very low effort. It wasn't at any consequential point in the game, but it was noticeable even in a few minutes. Apparently, they were winning big and choked it away in the 4th. The Heat hit a ton of 3s on a great percentage, supposedly, again, some of the defensive lapses were dumbfounding (going by stuff I read.) And they still barely won. They Nuggets should just scrape them out, and yea legit 5, but as I said, 6 would be surprising and 7 would be mindblowing.

They win easily in that I don't think Miami is ever gonna be in a position to win the series. We saw the downside of that, losing at home to them. Big mistake. Now, we see their heart. They should be able to win b2b in Miami, why not? 2 games in a row? Unless the NBA wants to extend this. Could still be 6 tho, they could win both and then lose again in Denver on the close out. Young/inexperienced teams tend to be bad at close outs.

The Bulls only won 4-2 at their best, but it was never in doubt (imo.) It takes a lot to sweep someone in the finals or 5 them. It happens, but it's not normal. That's a lot of money NBA is leaving on the table. They set up their whole season for this. It's like if you could have more super bowls... why wouldn't you?

So ye, I dunno what the final game numbers will be, but I still think Nugs are never under pressure. If people think they are under pressure now, that's pretty funny, and I think they might feel different after the game tonight. Hey, if Miami wins, even all the way to the championship, good on 'em. I got no dogz in these races, and I'm tired of hearing Jokic top evor talk already. But logic says... probably gonna be a slaughter. Just cuz they choked away 1 game, which they were up big despite not playing so well and the Heat bombing threes, eh... I don't think that's gonna make it less slaughtery in the end. It's a learning experience.

If Jokic is a MAN he needs to get 50. They wanna see him score, lets get 50! TONIGHTTT - arnold voice -

I will probably flip on the game for awhile and be pissed at how much I hate the NBA and how refs control everything, so I guess they suckered me in. To think I put 5-10 min into the game and gave them ratings... very sad.

They should win both games if they have any sense of urgency.

I would guess the Heat come out with more urgency in this home game. But Denver did just look bigger. The rebounding discrepancy was nuts. Jokic is by far the biggest on the court, AG is strong and super athletic, and MPJ despite missing every shot is 6'10. That front court dwarfs miamis small ball.

Christian Braun too, and even Jeff Green.

Miami’s whole rotation is just so small, and getting Herro back will just be more of the same.

Again, if they can shoot the lights out for 4 games theyll have a good chance. But the probabilities simply dont favor that.

I want the Nuggets to win. It is surprising they took both games in Miami after splitting in Denver. But don't get too cocky homeboy. Arrogance will be your downfall. Heat still have a chance an a fight in them.

I won't bet on them tonight and they'll probably end up winning. :oldlol:

They lost both games at even odds in this series and only won as big underdogs. Miami seems to play better with their back against the wall.

I'm down for a Yolk early finish but would rather see some adversity overcome first. Want to see some competition.

I agree this game could go either way, thats why it’s a risky bet.

You want those sure things, like “over/under LeGirth doing 35/7/7 in an elimination game.”

Obviously you take the over, you KNOW hes gonna do at least that. It’s not even a question.

When you bet on Lebron it’s not even gambling, it’s just free money.

But tonights game is more uncertain.

I bet on Lebron and lost 1000 dollars lol. He couldnt even win a single game at home. Made it back but that bum cost me some cash mate.
