Now a free agent, where y'all reckon he should sign in the off-season?

The new CBA has a policy saying certain luxury tax repeaters cant sign waived veterans, but I don’t know if it applies yet. If there is nothing stopping him going anywhere he wants?

Hes probably going to the Lakers or Clippers for cheap. Would he go to the Bucks?

Would he be an improvement over Lowry in Miami?

If he doesn't care about money, Boston. He can play 50, 40, 30 or whatever games in the regular season and average 20 minutes. Just be ready to go in the playoffs. His last best chance to play an important role in a champion.

Good move. They only have to pay him $15 million to get out of that contract.

Waived him!?

For what purpose? He still counts against the cap doesnt he?

Arent they trying to contend? I know hes not a big difference maker anymore but if you have to pay him just the same why on Earth would you straight up waive him??

I dont understand the point of this decision at all.

The snake definitely played a massive role in this decision

They’re now reporting that waiving CP3 is just one of several options the suns are considering including a trade, stretching his contract, waive and re-sign. So yeah that makes more sense
