Not sure what the context behind that video is, but I used to employ this middle-aged woman who I thought would be good for my store. The moment she started working for me, all I heard from her was about how all the men in her life treat her bad and how her daughter doesn't talk to her. It was nothing but moping around the store and crying and complaining about her life.

After a few months of this, I finally pulled her aside and frankly told her that no one cares about her problems and that the last thing a customer wants to hear is how troubling your life is. She got offended, but it was a hard truth that she had to hear.
