To give more playing time to Christian Braun in his sophomore season. MPJ only scored 2 points in game 3 while Braun exploded for 15 points.

Lol... no.

MPJ needs to play more within himself. He makes some dumb decisions on the court - one of the dumbest players in the league. Once he figures it out, things will start clicking for him based on his talent and athleticism.

Braun and MPJ are nothing alike. Braun isn't close to a good shooter at this stage.

Denver would actually be smart to pick up someone else in the same build of MPJ. Targeting someone like Covington would be interesting actually.

no if you trade mpj it's for a better player. Like a 3nD guy who has scoring ability so your defense gets better but your offense doesnt sacrifice much. Someone like bridges or og. I doubt it happens because denver wont trade anyone if they win a title(more likely than not) and other teams arent giving up good wings for mpj on his contract without multiple 1st rounders let alone bridges or og. Nets wouldnt trade bridges for 4 1st rders, raptors didnt trade og for 3.

Not sure about the trade but he has certainly earned a DNP at this point.

Whats crazy is every Nuggets starter is locked up for at least two more years after this. So with the cap going up and all their contracts already in place, Kroenke presumably has no problem keeping this whole team together.

The main thing they should target is a capable backup center like they had with Cousins last year. Other than that… they can just keep what they got and theyll have a good chance at being back in the finals every year.

just needs to break out of his slump... if he does, , he is a solid third option , like during the season

He's only 24 and has shown in this playoffs how good he can be, but yeah, he does seem very single minded in his approach to the game. If he doesn't get better at driving and passing, then he will be a glorified Davis Bertans for his career.

Seven rebounds in 21 minutes and much better defense. He had a decent game apart from shooting. Be nice if they worked on him attacking the rim more. Guy like him will almost always have the size advantage.
