It's like, man brought it on himself with his whining for MVP and being completely exposed in comparison to Jokic.

Embiid legit is made to look like an amateur by Jokic. It's like comparing Brook Lopez to Embiid, that's how the difference in skill looks.

I have to say Embiid looks like he gets completely figured out by opposing coaches. Only thing you need is to have decent physical defender on him, like Marc Gasol or Al Horford. His moves are slow, doesn't use his weight and has no back to basket game.

Honestly he is done as a legit contender, unless he significantly changes his approach to the game.

He needs to develop a jump hook. Over the shoulder and released high, arm fully extended. He relies too heavily on his jump shot that's blockable by the earth-bound Al Horford.

Embiid was pretty beastly in 2021 playoff. However he's quite bad in 2022 and 2023.

Hopefully he can get back to his 2021 form.

Embiid is not nor has ever been that good of a basketball player ...he's an above average all star and that is about it .... you're comparing him to Jokic who will easily finish top 10 all time by the end of his career and can finish within top 5 all time .... The gap is way too massive to a run of the mill all star caliber embiid ...

He cannot lead a team to win the championship

The James Harden of big men, once the easy whistles stop and the playoff intensity steps up, his level of play drops off dramatically. And similarly to Harden, the bigger the game or series, the worse he gets. The craziest part to me is he's never even gotten out of the 2nd round and he's literally never been able to get through a playoff run without getting injured :lol

He had a horrible series vs Toronto in 2019 too where his team lost by one miracle bounce in shot by Kawhi. If he puts up even a decent series there the Sixers likely win the title. That was playing with prime Jimmy butler whose leading Finals teams with Bam who many would consider far worse.

The guy is talented for his size but he's a flopper.. one of the worst ever.. he's soft, he's slow, he's a shitty passer, and he crumbles under playoff physical intensity (again due to his flopping nature).

His MVP was a fraud and due to voter fatigue.
