Per 100 poss:

Moses 78-79 MVP stats: 28-20-2
Giannis 18-19 MVP stats: 39-18-8

Moses 81-82 MVP stats: 37-17-2
Jokic 21-22 MVP stats: 40-20-12

Moses 82-83 MVP stats: 31-19-2
Embiid 22-23 MVP stats: 47-15-6

How did he win 3 MVPs with so little impact compared to today's players? Was it a reflection of the era he played in or did he actually had impact way beyond his stats?

Hard to compare stats across eras. Per 100 possessions numbers have spiked in recent years if I'm not mistaken. Is it a result of players getting better, rules and style of play changing, or both? I'll leave this for someone else to answer.

Current Luka? 44/12/11.

Giannis? 46/18/9

Embiid 47/15/6

Mvp Westbrook was 45/15/15.

Scoring wise Jordan was basically current Shai.

Long as we take today’s production at face value these conversations are pointless. If you believe these numbers are an accurate representation of past players vs current just get the legends off the all time lists now because it’s probably never going back. I just don’t wanna hear any “Defense is impossible…” talk when Lamelo Ball has 77 in a few months. If it’s all to be taken at face value just give props, acknowledge Jordan couldn’t produce like these guys, and enjoy.

Well at least MJ against Luka and Westbrook the numbers are close. MJ got a lot more steals, more efficient and was a much greater defender. He also performed better in the playoff.

Moses though? The numbers aren't even close.
