Dont worry. Next year is an election year and they will promise to cancel your student loans again. It'll be great.

I never really supported excusing all student college debt. I'm not sure it would get past the US Supreme Court anyways. Still, I agree that democrats don't keep all their election promises. Neither party is much different when it comes to that.

it's not that democrats 'don't keep election promises' - it's that they flat out don't genuinely pursue them. biden knew his method of debt relief was doomed to fail from the outset. it's what that tweet in the op was all about.

it's all a show, blade. if only you could see that democrats aren't the lesser of the two evils. instead you're blinded by msm trump derangement.

The gullibility of Democrats is quite impressive. What does Chicago do after voting out one of the worst Mayors in history? Vote an even worse one to replace her.

Are you saying excusing student college debt wasn't pursued at all? I don't care about excusing student college debt, but I do have a problem with fake news.

I know much of politics is a big PR game from both parties. I also know that the Democrats are the lesser of two evils. If you don't see that then you need to move the veil aside from your eyes and pull your fingers out of your ears.

It's not relief, it's deferment and it didn't seem to help because put against the cost of living, it's probably ABOUT EQUAL. You got played, stop voting for people so you can get shit. A democracy isn't bound to fail, but it needs guidance. Guidance needs guidance. City-State-Fed... separation of power, Supreme Court. Our constitutional amendments:

http://hrlibrary.umn.edu/education/all_amendments_usconst.htm

Look at even the deterioration of grammar as they continue to amend. They lowered the voting age in 1971.

Constitution is air tight as a legal document, but the fact that they don't amend it any more is a bit strange. Last good amendment was arguably 'right to vote.' I mean, that's some real shit, not some bs like prohibition. Nobody should decide the set order of presidential succession and ratify it into the constitution. That's law shit. Read the other stuff.

All of those important moments and yet we haven't had any of those moments. People want us to believe our society is perfect and the government is taking care of it all, but also that we are super flawed and need them. Haha. But think about how much you have to control in order to mess up our government, and we are doing things "the old way" like TV and such. TV automatically gives a candidate more credibility. If they have that presence on the internet they could win and will win eventually. Tons of votes out there. Everyone should vote, but think about things. It's fine to vote your own interest, that's the idea...

PEACE

The Republican's fought this tooth, fang and nail.

They should be celebrating it is back on.

Instead they are criticizing Biden for what they originally supported.

Of course debt payments are going to resume... if the dems ever gave real and lasting student debt relief, they lose the biggest carrot they can dangle in front of young people in 2024 and future elections

If the wealthy oligarchs who control our political system actually cared about this countries future, there would be some kind of real effort to tackle student debt (like lowering interest rates on existing loans and making it much harder for students to take out new loans)... say what you will about dumb college liberals, theres no denying the fact that an entire generation of young people coming into their adult life buried with debt for worthless degrees does not bode well for the future of this country for a variety of reasons.

Shouldn't you be celebrating that the student debt wasn't excused?? You didn't want it excused from the start. Why are you crying now that it didn't get excused?

False promises... As if any president in the history of this country has kept every single promise they kept after taking office. You really want to go through a promise that president Jefferson or president Garfield didn't keep?
