There's a lot of talent on that team. What's your beef with it?

The United States team is possibly the only one that goes without super stars, while the rest of the international teams will not only carry super stars that dominate the NBA, but will have teams that have more experience playing together.

Edwards, Haiburton, Bridges, Brunson, Ingram, Reaves > sti better than any other team

Talent in the NBA is different in FIBA.

In the NBA the refs and spacing allow people like Ant and Halliburton to be stars, they're not going to be stars in FIBA. Edwards will be practically useless, as weill types like Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson and Bobby Portis.

The US team only have Brunson, Ingram and Jackson that will have an edge and even then, Brunson will struggle like Lowry struggled because of the centers at rim in FIBA. Ingram was decent last time around and Jackson is a physical freak and those usually do well in FIBA.

Lolno.

Edwards will be useless as will Bridges.

Reaves and Brunson are most fit for the FIBA game.

looks like they've went back to the pre Colangelo era where they are picking young guys based on hype not on winning gold

Haliburton is a very smart player who can shoot with almost anyone.

It always surprises me when guys wanna spend their offseason playing more ball. I know if it was me, I’d probably wanna do one Olympics just to get the experience of playing for my country. But committing to multiple years of offseason practice and travel and international tournaments?? Doesnt seem very appealing.

We'll see.

Tatum was very bad in FIBA play and he is also a good NBA shooter.

Tatum averaged 15 on 49% coming out the bench. You should change your name to "90sStoppedWatchingBasketball."

US almost always sends their alternates for FIBA. Seems like it's usually a way to figure out how to fill the roster out for the Olympics depending on who does well. Conversely, the international crowd looks at the World Cup as MORE important than the Olympics. That said, I don't think it's an awful team but I wouldn't be surprised if they lost or got bronze

I watched him play, he was very entitled when the refs didn't reward him.

You not liking his attitude (I am pretending that you watched FIBA even though you never watch anything) is not the same thing as him playing badly. Tatum was Team USA's #2 scorer in spite of the fact that he was coming off the bench behind the team's best player. They won the championship. He did not play badly and you yet again have no idea what you're talking about. The end.

Was he as entitled as James Harden on the Nets this season?

The same Americans that are 143 - 6 with a 96% win percentage in the Olympics? Shut your dumb ass up. Clearly they’re going for youth and long term with this lineup.

Yea Tatum wasn’t bad. Dame was very disappointing however.
