hi smak, welcome to Basketball Anonymous please have a seat. we will start off by reading the primary purpose of BA.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop discussing basketball. There are no dues or fees for B.A. membership; we are self supporting through our own contributions. B.A. is not allied with any league, sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any ESPN-like controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other addicts to achieve sobriety.

Here are the steps we took, which are suggested as a program of recovery:

1. We admitted we were powerless over basketball — that our lives had become
unmanageable.

2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of Jeff as we
understood Him.

4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.

5. Admitted to Jeff, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature
of our wrongs.

6. Were entirely ready to have Jeff remove all these defects of character.

7. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.

8. Made a list of all forum members we had harmed, and became willing to make amends
to them all.

9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so
would injure them or others.

10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly
admitted it.

11. Sought through private messages and meditation to improve our conscious contact with
Jeff as we understood Him, PM'ing him only for knowledge of His will for us and the
mod power to carry that out.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this
message to addicts, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

Remember my mind is in overdrive rewriting how to think. They understand the way the mind evolves because they have been profiling me for awhile haha. For sure. Like the understand what leads to 'a manic episode' or a smart thought in someone who has mostly given up on caring about life. Except I care about NOTHING except a few people. I care about universal good. Imagine the world was all X variables, I would love them. The first girl I ever met I fell in love with.
