Coach Bud was affected by his family lose , and should of passed the reins to LEE for a game or two until he had his head on straight.

Split decisions are required in the NBA on the coach's side . and if they are not correct they are a blaring black hole.
In all the years I saw a coach go outside of the box it was only two coach's that could get away with it - (Don Nelson who never won a chip)
and Phil Jackson who won several)

That is why they get fired.

it's a ridiculous point, though understandable since he is about self-preservation.

You can't cut a player with $200m owed to him, so they have to live with that player. Best thing you can do is move on from the coach because he doesn't count against the salary cap, and maybe the next guy can figure it out sooner.
