And to emphasize what you just said. These are the professionals! These are the ones that make the decisions on whether or not a child will have their genitalia modified or not. And they're reasoning is "kids just know their true gender". That's it! That's all the justification a parent needs to hear to consent to these monsters mutilating their child. Sick as ****.

I don't think that's a common claim. They're saying that like sexual orientation, the idea of being a male or female is developed in the mind. Which is true. How we view ourselves is in our mind. The trouble is when our mind is telling us we're female but we have the body of a male. What should happen? This is where there's debate. And there's more than 2 sides to this debate.

Regardless a child is not informed or mature and is still learning who they are. I'm curious to hear from someone why children need to be thrust into this confusion.

No "good" reason? Good is a subjective term - what good is to you is obviously different to me subject dependent. I already admitted there is no medical necessity for circumcision, but I will not admit there is no good reason for it. My wife and I weighed the risk and read the literature behind it before making our informed decision. Probably something most parents don't do. But I am lucky enough to be in the medical field and my wife more-so so we have resources many may not have access to -- both of us feel comfortable with our decision so pardon me If I don't care for your laughable comparison.
