Kings traded a 1st to Dallas to get off Holmes contract. Right move since they want to get better and now have 30 mil in cap space potentially more if they let Barnes go but shows in an urgent situation teams will trade a 1st to get off a bad contract

I liked the timing of the move. Sac held the pick until the knew who who would be available to them at 24. Whoever they wanted must have already been picked and they pivoted to creating cap space instead of picking a player they were not in love with. :applause:
