could just be the way the media interpreted what he said

paul george is likely a hall of famer but unlikely the "goat"

objectivity can be hard perhaps impossible

Guys, he said it. Read the interview or research a video. Is not that hard.

Anyway George is clearly the player Miller idolized growing up. There's no real argument to be made for him as the greatest ever, he may be somewhere in the top 200 but O don't care enough to think about it. I am not sure he's even a lock for the hall of fame but there are people that would disagree I'm sure. Regardless I am not offended by his opinion. It's silly but whatever.

While Miller is delusional you are vastly underrating PG here. There haven't been 100 better players than him, and he'd make the HOF if he retired today, you're just going in the opposite direction of Miller. The guy is a career 20.6/6.4/3.7 player with well above average TS% and elite defense. 8x all-star, 6x all-NBA, 4x all-defense and he's already played 13 seasons. There are many, MANY far worse players in the HOF.

Like I said I'm not going to sit here and track my brain for a list of 200 players half of whom I most likely have never seen play. 200 is most likely extreme but he isn't on par with any of the guys on the top 75 list and it is possible he's not to 100... I'm not going to try and make a top 100 list either though.

Not seeing the case for Pete Maravich, Earl Monroe, Lenny Wilkens or Dennis Rodman over PG on the all-time list and they were all top 75 :confusedshrug:

They're also all over McGrady and Dwight Howard so take the list with a grain of salt.

Rodman dominated games in a way that few in NBA history could. He shouldn't be rated below every two way player that managed to average 20 points. There were several possessions where the Bulls didn't give the ball back until they scored and the guy could guard anyone from Scottie Pippen to Shaq. That matters. Pistol had 6 seasons averaging over 25 playing without a three point line. Peaked at 31. George is likely going to the Hall I'll concede that but he's done nothing since he got to LA aside from getting hurt with no great playoff runs to make up for that fact.

Kblaze is a pretty good historian of NBA history and has said Pete gunned for stats and was a very poor team player disliked by his teammates. He was also inefficient and not a good defender (if I remember correctly). Never said Rodman wasn't a great player but I'd rather have George. Don't like guys who don't space the floor if they don't have a good inside scoring game at least.

PG13 was 3rd in the MVP voting a few years back in spite of playing the last few weeks with shoulder injuries that required surgery after the season. He is a great player when healthy, which isn't often unfortunately.

Right Dennis Rodman a 7 time 1st team all defense, 5 time nba champion, and a 7 time rebound champion at 6’5.Doesn’t have a case over Paul George. Dennis Rodman is one of the greatest players to ever play…. Stick to your one liners and rollin’ laughing emojis in basketball convos on here please ….you expose yourself when you try to do anything more

Bold words from someone who claimed Joel Embiid was better than Jokic.

thoughts upon realizing someone is a bot... lol It's like OJ, damn I thought you were a straight shooter!! Damn. I didn't care. I didn't look. I don't mind bots cuz they aren't real. People who aren't affected by bots are quantum. It's a continuum.

Why did you need to trample on a player you admittedly knew nothing about to make the case for PG. :confusedshrug:

Because I trust kblaze and he knows a lot about him. If he had bad intangibles not seeing the case as I prefer George’s stats and he’s a solid intangibles guy

It's pretty clear what he meant, PG is his favorite player who he idolizes and a lot of his game resembles a young Paul George

He thinks LeBron is the GOAT
