From Hornets reddit.
- "Most hornets pick ever"
- "I can’t believe this. I’m just ****ing done."
- "I hope Miller works out but what the fvcking fvck MJ."
- "I’m really rooting for him and can see the tools for him to be good, but I think I’m so used to disappointment as a Hornets fan that I’ve convinced myself he’s unathletic and has no handle and can’t finish at the rim and is going to be nothing more than a spot up shooter."
- "i fvcking hate michael jordan"
- "Cannot wait for the sale to be final."

I mean...it's really not a bad pick.
Scoot was the guy for most of the year and for good reason but he didn't progress like some thought and Miller is the whole package. He could stand to be a little more aggressive and settle less but he has all the tool to be a high level player in all facets.
Scoot will almost certainly put up numbers and will be exciting but the thinking is his game with be a Ja type guy while Miller could be a Tatum/PG. Which you'll take all day even if they're of similar status at their position.

It could be like the draft when Rose and Westbrook were in it or Iverson and Kobe or Wade and Lebron

Don't know about PG, but I remember Tatum having way more offensive skill coming out of college than Miller.

Lol nobody expects that sorry franchise to compete under his ownership. He only probably bought it because he's so obsessed with anything based in carolina.

This will be his best pick
Isn't Brandon Miller 6'9" with a very good handle, shot and hops?
Scoot won't be that good.

Tatum was definitely more confident with his handle and as a shot maker. But at the same age Miller has way more chops defensively and is a better playmaker, and is a better pure shooter.
I saw Miller throw 38 at Gonzaga very early in the season and was pretty convinced. When he’s on he can absolutely take over. At absolute worst he’s a really good defender who will shoot 38-40% from 3.

Let's be real, none of us know how this will turn out.

Bad pick regardless.
Choose the consensus number 2 guy, or trade down, and you can grab Miller at 3, 4 or 5, and you get something else in return.

He's literally making billions off that team, and Bronie fluffers are having bitch fits over it.

Although I know you love to tie that in to "bronie" and "fluffers" whenever you can, but tt appears that the Hornets fans are the ones having the "bitch fits".
Unjustified in my opinion.

Scoot at 3rd is perfect.
Portland has their replacement for Lillard so they can trade him to a title contender. We get to see one of the greatest shooters ever on a bigger stage.
Charlotte gets LaMelo Ball some help. He'll finally showcase his talent in playoffs.

At this rate, the Hornets will be moved again to another city.

The athleticism of Scoot reminds me of Morant & prime Rose. Look at the play at 1:12, I expected a lay up, but dude just hammered down a dunk. The ball-handling and finish over Wembanyama at 2:15 was also very good.

Should be noted Wemby had a nasty block on Scoot as well, but love the agression.

I was talking about in this thread. Not Hornets fans.
I remember when the Rockets drafted Horry over Harold Miner everyone booed like crazy. Mainly because the "baby jordan" moniker.
Well Horry was ok i guess but Miner sucked.

Huh? Their only trading partner was the Blazers if they wanted Miller. There was no realistic scenario he would be on the board at 4 much less 5. What is the incentive for Portland to give anything up to Charlotte?
This was not the same as taking MKG at 2.

Hey cut him some slack. Braindead mongoloids have limited and hideous vocabularies, after all. :lol
Btw, he will likely quote this post later to confirm he's butthurt about it. ;))

Neither Miller or Scoot will be all star level players. This draft class is shit outside of Victor.

More than 10 years of franchise ownership and still no #1 draft pick because none of them came or enrolled in carolina lolol. :yaohappy:
