While I agree that in general, there are parents and people that definitely do screw up children, I will say this about why this is something that the Right is passionate about right now in 2023. And it's really just a few reasons.

1. This is new. While one (such as yourself) can make the argument that religion can harm children, and you may or may not be right, the fact is that religion has been around for a long time. So we are accustomed to it just as much as we are accustomed to eating, breathing, or sleeping. And in a way, knowing how there are so many things that can affect children, people who are against the Transgenderism movement may just be making the case that we shouldn't, as a society, allow something else to harm our children. This is why there is uproar against TikTok too. And before someone that lacks reading comprehension skills comes in here and says "There's been transgenders since civilization started", that is not what I'm referring to. I'm referring to how Transgenderism is now being socially accepted and performed on children. This is very new.

2. The scale of the physical and mental damage of gender dysphoria and not receiving the proper treatment outweighs any of the damage any of the other things you mentioned can do to a child. And the money that's behind it. There's no money and profit behind being an absentee parent or indoctrinating your child to become a supremely devout member of some organized religion/cult. To see pictures of the skin grafts that people have allowed doctors to perform on them just so that they create male genitalia is gruesome and sadistic. And to think, that's what we're prepping our children for by allowing this delusion to permeate in their heads for years rather than take them to the proper medical professional.

Trust me, I see what you're saying about how there are so many things that damage people on a daily basis, but in my honest opinion, that does not mean that we should have an attitude of thinking what's the big deal if it's one more thing out of many.
