Yeah, Bird dribbles high and never really seems to bend his knees or lean down, so compared to today’s players he looks really stiff. Obviously more of an era thing, half the stuff players do today wasnt allowed back then so there was really no reason for him to ever develop flashy handles.

If Michael Porter Jr can be a max guy in the league today it goes without saying Bird could. Same size and shooting, plus a post game and IQ.
