Dang about 2-3 seasons ago, KD was a hair or two behind BIRD and now he's not even top 5?

1. LeBron
2. Bird
3. Dr. J (is this consensus?)
4. Kevin Durant???
5. Elgin Baylor.

You say this to make an emphatic point while having James Worthy over Larry Bird.

No one is listening :lol

Curious to see people's opinion on KD vs Dr J. Even where Kawhi compares to them.

At this moment KD and Kwahi are declining on the all-time list in my eyes. Durant needs to be healthy and successful in Phoenix to really even be in the discussion with Dr. J, Elgin, and Barry. Dr. J had I think six runs to the finals and was in the mix almost every year. And while he played on good teams those were balanced teams they went super free agent all-star teams. I don't know about the math but I think in J's entire career he missed less games than KD has missed during some of his seasons.

A point forward isn't necessarily a power forward who runs point sometimes. It's any forward, which includes small...

Pippen was similar but you have him on there.

That's very true to me I look at defense and scoring being more the attributes of the small forward. Pip, Leonard, Butler to extents could be defined as Point forwards but the defining aspect of the game was defense.

But I get where you are coming from.

1- Lebron
2- Bird
3- Doc

I would choose Kawhi after those for my team, but I feel Kawhi, Durant, Hondo and Baylor would be interchangeable..with Pippen below all of those.

I just think that Lebron before like 2019 was a clear small forward. He could play PF defensively because of his strength but even that didn't fully take effect until 2009 or so. Up until like 2015 he was capable of guarding PGs too though.

He's far closer over to a 3 than a 4 overall.
