In 3-pointer era... Isiah wasn't a ball-dominator - he came off screens in the halfcourt and ran a post offense, not high screen rolls like Lebron.. Magic isn't really a ball-dominator either in the modern sense (high-screen roll)
So ball-domination never really won in the pure sense of the ball-dominator being the best player (magic vs kareem) and not needing 1st-mover colluding power (non-organic LeDecision).. Meanwhile, Chauncey, Isiah and Tony Parker weren't really ball-dominators and Popovich got Parker to cut the crap early in his career..
So again, ball-domination never really won, so all these short ball-dominators like Isiah Collier or Scoot better get their Curry or MJ-ball on (off-ball - expert jumpshooting skill) or they'll be career losers like Luka or Lebron before the teaming up and pretty much all ball-dominators in the annals of history that didn't have the aforementioned, special advantages.
