Austin Reaves is a dumbass. He left 44 mill on the table for the next four years.

I’m loving this Laker offseason so far. DAngelo back, Reaves back, Rui back. Lakers running it back without Kyrie. Only thing better would’ve been Dillon Brooks but Reddish is a nice fallback. Also Hayes was a steal.

Pelinka :applause:

With the deals guys get nowadays that's insane. He could've held out and profited an extra 25 million at least. Whoever his agent is needs to be fired.

He's happy to be a Laker you idiots, I know he could have held out for another 10-15 but he was undrafted and appreciates money more than the guys getting 9 figures

I'm feeling a Jeremy Lin situation.

Not comparable. Lin was good for like 8 games. Austin has been the most consistent laker beside lebron when he was put in the starting lineup. And not only that, his numbers actually went up in the playoffs. He’s the real deal. I’m shocked no one made him an offer.

Held out for what? Only Spurs were left with money, and Lakers were going to match anything Spurs offered. Remember, Reaves was restricted FA.

Thankfully Spurs have a conservative front office that exercise patience. They would rather develop their own guys and not splurge on free agency.

Also it does kinda suck for Austin that he has to wait at least another 3 years for a shot at a massive payout. But the dude was undrafted and 56mil is pretty good for an undrafted guy coming out of the G league on a two way.

I respect your opinion. It'd be pretty cool to see an american white guy do some things. Who'se the last one? Kevin Love?

For one contract sure...but he's playing for that 2nd contract and lets be real...you think the Lakers and going to sign AD again.

Taking the Pippen deal makes sense for him because unlike the Bulls the Lakers are actually loyal to guys like Reaves.
