The Raptors seemed to be kind of rebuilding, maybe, with Fred VanVleet gone, so maybe what should happen next is they should trade Pascal Siakam and begin a true rebuild?

There are a few reports out there that the Pacers might want Siakam.

Right now, it's hard to know what to make of the Raptors. They're sort of in limbo.

They're rebuilding so the answer to this question for a player near 30 is "yes." But they should make sure the deal gets them his value or better in return. A champ contender could give up 2 or more future firsts a pick swap and maybe another asset with conditions attached.

And they should definitely rebuild. They are fifth in their division barring the Knicks making all my dreams come true. Even the Nets are better.

Nobody could blame them if they did. I can’t imagine he’s a long term plan. Are the fans even into him that much?

If the trade gives Raptors a franchise player back even for a short period of time for Pascal ala the Kawhi trade, they should do it.

Yes. Pascal still has huge value for teams wanting to win now. No sense having his value slowly diminish on a team in no man's land needing to rebuild.

Hopefully they do.

That guy has tremendous skill for his size. His euro step and midrange game are unbelievable.

Siakam would be great fit in OKC and they got the draft capital to make it work.

First team that came to my mind. With pascal they'd have a legit chance to contend within the next 3 years. Add a couple 3 point snipers to their core and it's a championship caliber squad.

raptors arent doing it. Mavs traded for kyrie over pascal before trade deadline because they didnt have enough assets for pascal
