This has to be the worst franchise in the last 3 decades doesn’t it? 1979 was the last year they eclipsed 50 wins. Every other franchise outside of Charlotte has atleast made a Conference Finals appearance, but Charlotte didn’t even exist until 1989.

The Hornets having that decent stretch in the mid 90s saves them. But in the last 20 years they've only made the playoffs 3 times and only won 40 or more games 3 times. Never made it out of the first round. Got swept in 2 of those 3 series.

They were 1 win away in 2017, so close.

I’d have to check but they have probably won about as many series as the Kings have since then. The Webber years really throw off perception. The kings were ass for like 20 years before him and 15+ years since. The Wizards won 3-4 series from Arenas to wall and Beal. I’m not sure the kings won more than maybe 4 in 40 years.
