Do you think he's a serious competitor in terms of truly winning a championship or do you think he's just sort of along for the ride and content to win but mostly focus on making as much money as possible?

As a former James Harden fan, no.

No one is more serious about winning than King James

He took a paycut last offseason in the hopes that they would make the team better. He is serious. That doesn't mean that ĥe does whatever it takes, he could clearly be in better shape. But he is serious.

I'm sure most, if not all, players are serious about winning. That's the point of the game after all. However, I would suspect that for most people who have played as long as he has, maximizing your earnings probably takes precedent.

I believe James Accepted that’s he’s not a winning player after 2019 playoffs. It’s about a cash grab now. He took less money last year so the sixers would look out for him in the next contract and we didn’t :oldlol:.

I just want this quitter off my team before he plays and quits on us in games like he did with the rockets and nets

What does being serious about winning mean?

It's easy to make fun of Harden, but there's not a lot of winners if a ring means winning. If rings are everything then basically being serious about winning means being on a team with a top 25 player of all time.

Most people probably think it's something about living ascetically, listening to doctors, spending time in the gym etc.

I do think those stars that spend like 1 hour after practise in the gym, like Giannis, put themselves in a better position to win. I don't think Harden is that player.

I'm sure he is. When they won game 1 against the Celtics, without Embiid, and in Boston...he had the best playoff game of his career and he refused to celebrate telling his teammates 3 more games. Most players would gloat. He wanted to keep working towards that goal. Harden is serious, but still is human.
