In 1993, went to the finals. Lost to the Bulls. MJ retired.

In 1994 and 1995, in WC semifinals lost to the Rockets 3-4 both years after leading 2-0 and 3-1.

Sir Charles could easily had a couple of rings.

If he worked harder and gave one shit on defense he would probably have a couple

but he didn’t

Isiah Thomas and Michael Jordan were only American superstars that won a championship in 1990s. Both were guards.

Shaq and Kareem are last two American bigs to wins Finals MVP.

Barkley was injured in the 94 WCSFs. Like proper injured. His back was stuffed and he shouldn't have been playing.

What's interesting is just just how close Barkley was to entering the top echelon of ATGs.

Had he not hurt his back in 94, he almost certainly would have won a championship and FMVP that year.

Pre-injury, he had the Suns at 23-6 and was averaging the same 25/12/5 that he averaged in his MVP season the year before.

Add to this that he was the MVP in 1990, despite historical record (most first place votes, winner of other media MVPs etc). He was on the cusp of a top-10 resume.

Charles wasn't unlucky. He made it to the nba as a poor person and is a millonaire now. At first he said he wanted to buy a House for his mother, grandma and brothers and he succeeded at that. He wanted to win a ring in his prime playing the hardest he could but he was told he would never win a ring by MJ himself. He is my favorite player ever and the funnest and most exciting player IMO (or atleast for me) to watch play. My job regarding Chuck has ended. He was being underrated too much so me, Aussie and another Sixer fan whom i don't remember his nickname have a job to tell Chuck's story as it really happened.
