I never like promoting the idea of ad blockers, because it then leads to YouTube disabling it for all.

The one place not to use it is on ISH.

My phone blocks everything because I use "Brave" as a browser.

On my laptop I usually use Chrome with ublock origin as my ad blocker, but youtube has somehow disabled all these ad blockers. Looks like I'm gonna have to install Brave on my laptop as well

Found a chrome extension called "undetectable ad blocker". Seems to have blocked youtube ads for now. We will see.

YouTube is once again conducting an experiment that targets anyone using an ad blocker. Like before, users are warned that they should turn off their blocking software. This time, however, there's a punishment for not complying: being limited to just three video views.

The bad thing is that this happened to you in August, which means that they are expanding it, and that it might eventually catch up to the rest of us.

Noscript and ublock ? Ye this site and most sites are aids on devices such as apple (Ipad atm) but those two things work well. Have done me well.

You need extra lines in your ******* filters. Not sure if they are all the same but there should be out there for differently adblockers.

Youtube's recent update made "return youtube dislikes" extension unusable. From what I heard, the extension has a new update that combats this, but needs a chrome store approval.

Sometimes I'll skip through a video and then an ad will pop up before I can resume it. One 15-second ad, and then another ad for 5 seconds. Then if I try going back on a video, the same ****ing thing happens

I'd consider buying YouTube Premium if YouTube hadn't been practically run into the ground already. It's been getting worse for years. Why the **** are they constantly promoting news channels? How many human beings in this world give a flying **** about Mr Beast or SSSniperwolf? They treat a lot of content creators like garbage. Shadow ban videos. How ****ing stupid is the YouTube leadership? How do you ruin one of the greatest websites to ever grace the internet so badly?

Google needs to be broken up. Worst company I've ever seen. It's almost inconceivable how bad Google is.

of course ******* wont work on chrome, youtube and chrome are both google products

brave still works great tho

anyway i think ultimately youtube will always allow adblockers... a lot of people would rather just go watch rumble/bitchute/oddysey/etc than watch youtube with ads, and ultimately youtube cares a lot more about maintaining their positition as the dominant internet video destination than they care about extracting ad revenue from their users.
