I ask that realizing there are a couple other options for the spots but I want to know who you definitely throw off the boat

Dame
Booker
Kawhi

If Kawhi manages to stay healthy, swap him for Butler.

If someone is totally braindead and autistic, he'll have #6 out of that bunch immediately.

Lebron has obviously had the greatest career among the people shown, but he is the easiest person to cut, since the is year 21 for him.

Kawhi is my next cut, he's not as good as he once was and constantly injured.

Last cut for me is Booker. He's a great scorer, but not much of a leader, defender, passer or rebounder.

Lillard, Booker, and Lebron.

This is a pretty easy one.

James Davis and Leonard. All due to missing games.

Kinda pointless to have Lebron and Joker on the list, anyone excluding either of them is clearly just trolling.

Anyway the correct answer is AD, Reeves, and D’Lo.

Lillard
Booker

From a combination of peak play and consistency

- Kawhi doesn't even play so it doesn't matter if he's the best player in the world.
- Lillard
- Booker. LeBron was really close. I think he drops below Booker this year tbh.

So I'm dropping Kawhi, Lillard & Booker.

there's 3 players in that list that amazing playoff series...2 of them were against the odds due to a combination of luck(with a subset of it due mainly to injuries), timing, and lack of proper team construction. the 3rd player who had good fortune, good timing, and élite team construction won the title. not saying booker and jimmy win a title if they had all 3 of those things in their favor, simply stating faqs.

aside from the obvious fax, let's use some recency bias to argue my point even further...AD was worthless last season, so was embiid, as was tatum (he had ONE good game LMAO against the heat). 3 certified chokers. whereas Booker has a legendary efficiently series and Jimmy showed out with pure hustle and heart. Giabitch can return to form when healthy we know that, Kawhi was looking like he was going to handle the Suns single handedly, Curry still has gas left in the tank, Luka had his front office pleading him to tank, Dame has all time low IQ team construction, Lebron is just old but i'd take him at 10 over embitch and AD. KD still averaged like 30ppg.

Dame, Lebron and Kawhi.

If I assume that Kawhi is healthy for a few months in the playoffs, then he beats out Booker.

in general i feel there is always recency bias with players like tatum (people think he's good bc he BOOMED lebron in the playoffs back in 95') but have a laggy outlook on Booker. what do i mean by laggy? like dial-up laggy. like you're judging him based on 2 years ago as if he didn't just have a histtorically amazing playoff series and displayed that he cannot only score, but he can play average defense while being a good playmaker for otthers and STILL dropping 40pts. :facepalm

If this was for the playoffs, Embiid would for real not make my top 10. Of that group I'd only take him over Dame, who's let his 2 series winners mask the fact he's had multiple bad series in the limited amount he's played in throughout his career.

Assuming all are completely heathy, I am taking out Lilliard, Lebron, and Tatum.

does anything but the playoffs matter?

Assuming that health issues aren't a factor in this conversation then I'm definitely taking Booker and Dame out but after that it's tough. I think that Tatum will give you more over the course of a season than Lebron will at this point. But I'd trust Lebron more in a big game so I don't know. At the end of the day I'd probably go Tatum but it's very very close.

If this is for 2024 regular season, I'd throw off Lebron, Kawhi, AD, Butler.

AD
Kawhi
Jimmy

AD is too inconsistent and too injury-prone

Kawhi only plays like half the season

Jimmy is a borderline all-star in the regular season, and yes he does turn it up in the playoffs but he's not consistent enough

amazing, its like no one watched Booker play

I've seen him play plenty of times, I'm just not that impressed. Certainly doesn't help that he finished two seasons in a row with a complete meltdown in the final game.

Lillard, Jimmy and Kawhi. Kawhi because he's never healthy.

Yeah I would go Davis, Lillard, and Booker

Booker because the team has so much talent he wouldn't really be missed
Dame because he's getting older and you can replace him
Street Clothes because he plays the game like a baby giraffe

Kawhi ~ because he sits out every playoffs. Embiid ~ he shits the bed in the playoffs, flops all game long. Last one is tough but probably have to go with dame. He's got an aesthetic game and is clutch but doesn't have a crazy overall game, only really a scorer. He's more top 15 than top 10 for me.

its ok to admit you didn't watch him play against the nuggets, bc he went off against the champs. not his fault he was passing to wide open teammates and they couldn't be bothered to make a shot. :facepalm

totally not impressive to score like jordan. yeah.

It's hard to even pick the top 3 in that group let alone the bottom. I think it speaks to the weakness of the league right now. Most of those dudes are either injury prone or chokers, or highly problematic in some other way. Jokic and to some degree Giannis is basically the only reason I even watch anymore. I guess if I HAD to pick, the three I'd leave off are Tatum and Booker (both one dimensional) and AD cause he is not only injury prone but also inconsistent af
