It is a post George Floyd America and the message is clear.
People can no longer remain silent. Police brutality, especially as it pertains to black people, must be at the forefront of political discussion. Silence can no longer be allowed.
Those with platforms are obligated to speak up and raise awareness. If you have a social media account, you must post a black square. If the anthem is playing, you must take a knee. If you are an athlete, you must protest games and wear slogans on the back of your jersey.
.
.
.
.
And then, on Jan 7 2023, the worst police beating caught on video since Rodney King surfaced. A 29 year old black man was pulled over at random for no reason, beaten to a pulp, and died 3 days later. If we're being honest, it's actually far worse than Rodney King because he didn't die.
And what was the response from the left you might ask? Hollywood? From all the famous pro athletes? From all the black square advocates?

What happened?? Where were the black squares?? Where were the violent protests outside the white house? Where were the NBA players coming together and holding hands?? What happened to "More Than An Athlete"??
I already know how people in the center and on the right feel about this, but are there ANY so called lefties on here who have the courage to explained what happened here??
