on the television as my bedtime background noise, so Im thinking about adding a TV package centered around Laker broadcasts.
But the thing Ive discovered is the Lebron package is HUGE.
They make you bundle a whole bunch of different channels just to be able to get Lebron into your bedroom.
Anyone else contemplate making a move like this?

Be careful. Silver is coming for all unsanctioned access to that package

finally put the Jazz back on regular tv anyway! Now they just need to find a taker for The Bum
I also like to listen to a "Bedtime background noise" (your term) while transitioning into sleep. However, maintaining a television running throughout the night while asleep strikes me as inefficient. The wear and tear on the device, power consumption concerns, and the associated costs are factors to consider.
My recommendation would be to acquire a set of high-quality speakers, link them to a spare mobile phone, procure some audio content featuring LeBron James, and then establish a timer for playback. Should you desire to have the audio play throughout your entire sleep duration, that's a viable option as well, because it won't be as inefficient as the television.

Probably not. He makes 10 million a year. he’d be the ninth highest paid player on the clippers right now. He’s a broke boy by NBA star standards. LeBron has 20 times his net worth. The expanding salaries probably make it harder to command respect as someone who is supposed to be in charge of a business. When most of your employees are paid higher than you how much respect do you think they have for you as a powerful figure? You could kick em out of the league they’re still worth 5 of you.

Keep in mind they only see about half of what they make (true of Silver as well). Most players are probably in the situation of needing the remainder of their team contract and endorsements to stay solvent.
If they got kicked from the league and subsequently cut off from endorsement checks, most would probably go broke.
Lebron could walk away today with a billion dollar fortune, but I doubt most are set up to live only on what theyve already made.
They SHOULD be, but Id be surprised if many are.

If find it curious how these people always think every illegal stream equates a potential buyer and thus they just use the numbers of illegal streamers x league pass price.
No, 99% would just stop watching your product and thus the ads. That might actually turn the whole procedure into a loss.

Doesnt really matter, if they ignore people streaming for free its a huge slap in the face to everyone paying for it. If they let everyone watch for free, they lose a boatload of money.
They have to go after pirates of else theyre giving a giant **** you to all their paying customers

Don't they already get huge money off bundled internet and TV deals? And all of the owners and agents and players and every body inbetween already filthy rich?
They're lucky they have most of us hooked to this basketball shit like crack.
We'd all be better off not focusing on this circus and spending time with family and meditating.

Of course what you say is true. Saying they lose potential money from these streamers is just dishonest.

They got huge money in 2015 which is why the cap spiked in 2016. The deal is expiring and now they’re getting even more. Like double or more. Which is probably why they’re so worried about streaming at the moment. They don’t normally need ratings for their money. The money comes from rights deals and the networks/streamers get paid for the ads that cost more with higher ratings. But right now they want those numbers to peak to justify the biggest possible rights deal.
Once that’s signed all they’ll care about is you having all the streaming services they’re available on. They will barely care if you watch it or not. Same money for them aside from league pass.
Excellent advice.
Thank you for the kind words, kind sir.

"loses 28 Billion"
which is bullshit, those who watch those streams will/can never pay for it.
so the leagues lose nothing
doris burke and other females commentating on men pro sports will make more people walk away from these sports then any other thing Silver and the other greedy ghouls can come up with

didn't he once show it on TV?
yes he did... strangely enough, all clips of it online have now been blurred out.
he must have sent his lawyers out to find all the clips.... with a tiny man!
look for yourself online. not ONE non blurred video of that incident!
he must be very insecure.
