I saw that among the standard summer articles with him talking about how hard he was working. He said he would absolutely destroy the player he was last year. But I knew nobody cared what he had to say. I think he will have a better year than people assume. That trade obviously won’t happen, but even if it did, I’m not sure I would make him the go to guy over bridges right now.

I wouldn't want to bet money on what we see from him either way. His talent hasn't disappeared but he had some combination of physical and mental health issues that makes everything dicey. 15/8/8 is still possible. 5/3/wtf is also possible.
