The Dallas Mavericks are going to be playing against Real Madrid, a very very good year league team, in NBA preseason this year.
This isn't a rare occurrence or whatever but I always find it interesting when NBA teams play actual good international teams in preseason, especially when the NBA team is on the road, because the year league team is going to play very hard and treat it like a serious game. While the NBA team will probably play its starters less than half the game.
I think if it was a regular preseason game the starters would play less than 10 or 12 minutes. But since it's a big international game they'll probably play more, but still, the Mavs will not be playing especially hard because they're not going to go and hurt themselves for preseason game.
Preseason games are rarely must see, but I will definitely watch this one just out of curiosity
