if Lebron played in the Western conference he would of only made the NBA finals four times? Instead of losing to a Western conference team in the finals he would of lost to that Western conference team in the playoffs

No.

Give him a WC roster instead during the 2010s.

He could have joined the Warriors in 2014 yet decided to join a dumpster lottery team in Cleveland.

He already had the best on-paper talent and preseason favorite from 2011-2016

So sure, if he had an even better cast than the best cast in the league, then he might've won more but that goes regardless of what conference he's in and the point is that he already had the best team in the league and was still perennial underdog and loser to the West's best

Anyone that was forced to make a large bet on this would assume that he would make about 4 Finals with similar supporting talent to what he had in Miami and Cleveland (best on-paper talent in the league, aka preseason favorite and the only super-team in the league, aka 3 franchise player on 1 team)

If he was 4/4 in the finals, a lot of people would act like he is better than he is now.

Pardom me for being captain obvious, but if he played in the big bad west doesn't that also mean he'd get a big bad west roster? Or maybe I got I wrong and we do that convoluted thing where we transplant a franchise just to make a moot point?
