Just rewatched the 4th quarter.

Holy shit what a deflating loss. Forgot how much of a steal that was.

Dirk and Billups ruled this game. At one point before the end Dirk had 32 on 9/14 and Billups 32 on 9/13. But Dirk missed too many shots late.

Melo didnt have a bucket until the last 30 seconds.

Mavs were up 4 with 30 seconds left on what looked to be the dagger on the Terry 3. Then Melo drives in for a dunk and hits that 3 with a second left..

Terry and Howard going 1 of 2 at the stripe in the last 2.5 minutes played its part too.

I liked that Mavs team. Gritty hustle players all doing 1-2 things really well. When it came down to it they lacked the star power.
