Vs Lakers:
Terry - 20/2/4 on 59/68/86 splits - 17.7 game score
Kobe - 23/3/2.5 on 46/23/80 splits - 13.6 game score

Vs Heat:
Terry - 18/2/3 on 49/39/75 splits - 13.4 game score
Lebron - 18/7/7 on 48/32/60 splits - 13.7 game score

2011 playoffs will never not feel like a crazy dream. Those Mavs teams had the basketball gods on their side that year. Has there ever been someone at Terry's level (good player, but no all star appearances) to outplay/equalize two other GOATS like Kobe and Lebron in one playoff run?

Yeah Terry really stepped up crazy during that run.

Shame Wade couldnt do anything with him in the Finals and got lit up relentlessly.

Guard Jason Terry was so confident the Dallas Mavericks would reach the NBA Finals this season, he had it printed.

In ink. On his body. Before the start of the 2010-11 regular season.

On Oct. 19, 2010 -- a day before a preseason game against the Orlando Magic -- guard DeShawn Stevenson had a get-together for his Mavericks teammates at his house.

Stevenson's chest, neck and arms are covered with tattoos. He even has a few facial tattoos and two piercings in his chest. But despite all of his tattoos, what he saw teammate Jason Terry do was mind-boggling at the time.

Jason Terry had huge balls and basically projected his success through mindfulness and physical affirmation. He thought he could win, said he would win, and even got a permanent mark on his body to complete the process. Imagine they lose and he has that tattoo forever. That would be like one of those situations where a guy or girl gets a tat of an ex and then they have a brutal breakup that is a reminder every time you take a shower.

I mean Terry wasn't as good as those guys were really bad.

But yea he did step up. For a relative nobody to average that much on such good shooting is nice.

Just try to stay true to myself. I know thats what Lebron would want.

Yeah, Terry did indeed step up when it mattered, but you can't discount Kobe and Lebron choking either.
