Now that he's sharpened his skills in Taiwan, it seems the Warriors are considering signing Dwight.

The Warriors could certainly use a big center with defense....
But there's always the matter of hoping he stays out of prison for sexual assault.

they need a proper big and the options are limited. i think their concern is just his off the court behavior and are trying to get a feel for his mental state right now.

I can't remember the last time I saw him play but I'm inclined to think he can still play. Especially if we're talking about him stepping in as a reserve center. Wouldn't mind at all if the Celtics had gotten involved. He is always going to be able to rebound and play defense in the paint so if your front court is ever getting bullied he could be the answer.

He's better than most NBA backup centers and probably some starters even still at his age but the core issue with him is his behavior. Will he cause chemistry issues? He played so well for the Lakers. There has to be a reason they let him go that wasn't basketball.

Could be. Or maybe they're just keeping options open for the time being, and they plan to sign someone (Howard or another center) later on (as Shams implied).
