Apparently they went “deep” and the raptors backed off at the last second and it’s them and the Celtics looking most likely. A couple gms seem to think he will be one of those places by Monday.

Which all means nothing of course but….it’s being presented as news by Spears and some others so there it is.

I know this is all hearsay but the reports stated he would make it ugly should he have been traded to Toronto... probably why Toronto pulled back.

Wouldn't have mattered because he probably would've still requested a trade to Miami

They say he will be a “professional” and show up for Toronto if it comes to that but I guess we will see. He doesn’t seem to want it to be ugly. Demanding two teams trade him back to back after all the shit he talked about such things? He might just suck it up and play.

Why do the Blazers value a player who doesn't want to play there and is such a huge cap liability for a non-playoff team?

If Dame tore his Achilles next season during game 1, whichever team has him is in cap misery for the next 4 years with no chance whatsoever of trading him.

Just let it go. Trade him for a passable return
