Where do you think he’s going?

Heat should honestly go for him, he might not be what they were looking for in Dame but he would he would still be a huge addition for them. Jrue/Butler/Bam would be a really good trio and crazy defensively.

Wonder if the Celtics would be in on him like RMWG said in the other thread, if Brodgon is still pissed at the C's.

I’m shocked he didn’t end up on the suns in the trade. Suns, Lakers, and Celtics all make a lot of sense.

Heat could still win with a trade for Holiday. Herro can gtfo.
Knicks (not a contender) for Barrett

Do a buyout then sign with the suns. :oldlol:. That’s what I’d do….but I’m petty like that

Jrue>Dame
Beal> crowder(or whoever they start)
Booker>Middleton

If I’m GM i’m sending this to Portland with two picks as a starting point for negotiations

Keith Pompey: A source confirms the Sixers are interested in acquiring Jrue Holiday. (https://*********.com/social/) However, the source noted it’s still a little early for something given the PG was just traded to Portland. Holiday began his career with the Sixers. @KyleNeubeck was first to report the news.

The Portland Trail Blazers have acquired Jrue Holiday as part of its long-awaited Damian Lillard trade. But the Blazers are committed to building around its young guards in Scoot Henderson, Anfernee Simons and Shaedon Sharpe, and they will seek a trade of Holiday elsewhere. The Miami Heat have been mentioned by Adrian Wojnarowski as a possible trade partner for Holiday (https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/273062/Blazers-Engaged-With-Other-Teams-On-Jrue-Holiday-Trade).

That'd be much better than CP0. CP0 on the Warriors is repulsive.
Just keep Jrue away from the Sixers :facepalm

100 percent.
Jrue would be legit with the Warriors. They go from contender to one of the favorites.

Clippers better get on to this rather than Hardon.

If Morey can flip harden for Jrue that is a win.
Both expiring but Portland would definitely want more in return. Philadelphia has nothing else to offer as they are completely depleted of all viable assests.
Would need a third team, maybe the Clippers finally come to the party to take Harden. Hopefully their package will satisfy the Blazers, I assume they can't be asking for too much.

Hopefully the Bulls trade Zach Lavine for him.

Why? Bulls are closer to rebuilding than they are to needing a good player who's 33 years old. Lavine is 28. They are in a similar level, Holiday is better because he's so much better defensively but they're both guys that could make or miss allstar over team record.

This is hard to explain because it's all opinion based on intangibles rather than hard facts, but I feel that Lavine is dragging the Bulls down. I want them to get rid of him. I'd be thrilled if they got Holiday for him.

In that case they should be going for picks and cap space. Holiday and Derozan duo is play in team at best. Might just make the lottery in either case.

I wonder if Bulls should trade Lonzo and Pat Williams for Jrue.

Tbf they wouldn't be crumbling rn if lonzo wasn't unreliable. They seemed to be contending while he was unhampered two seasons ago.

Why would Portland do this? They gonna pay old man CP3 to babysit simons and scoot?

They were OK. "Contending?" Not even close.

They were the 1st seed for most of the regular season iirc

Ball played in 35 games. I don't know what percentage of the season they had the best record if they did at all but they ended the season in 6th place.

This one's what i actually meant.

Which would have been higher if he didn't go down at all i believe. They would have also put up a better fight against the bucks in the 2022 playoffs but ofc that's only a past speculation.

Wasn't Lavine part of their formula? You trade him for Holiday and what you have is a team that's not much like a team that had a good record for what, half a season? That's just not worth it. They still world have no real franchise player. I'm just not going to exorcism a team led by a 34 year old Demar Derozan to do anything.

You're right. However i was referring to their past season, i didn't imply anything that lavine should go now nor believe that having holiday will solve their current woes. Their biggest issue rn is relying on lonzo ball, who's unfortunately still currently unavailable to play atm.
