Knuckleball pitchers are fun to watch especially those who throw the original style unlike RA Dickey (fast knuckleball). Watching those balls break in the air and batter whiffing is amusing.

Unfortunately there is next to zero knuckleballer in the major nowadays. It is just too hard to perfect and needs a catcher specifically assigned to catch knuckleball.

That is a thing of beauty.

I grew up watching him as a Sox fan. Always tried to emulate his knuckleball playing wiffle ball with friends or just playing catch.

It's crazy were approaching ages where people we grew up watching are getting old and passing on. He was too young at 57 though.
